Glenorchy Lodge

Wyuna Rise was designed with its location as the ‘Eagles Nest’ of Wyuna Preserve in the forefront of the concept. The two titles (Lots 29 and 30) totalling 6.6 hectares sit east and west of each other and control the highest ridge with exceptional views to the mouths of the Greenstone, Dart and Rees rivers. The natural aspect is to the north and west over Lake Wakatipu to the Humboldt Mountains. The home is built on Lot 30 closest to the lake leaving lot 29 as privacy control or a future build.

With its lodge style exterior, the home impresses well before you enter its meticulously finished interiors which span over 750 square metres of internal space. The master suite has its own wing with expansive views over Lake Wakatipu and north to Glenorchy with Mt Earnslaw in the background. Three guest rooms all have en-suites and a bunkroom with games area and four single bunks have its own separate bathroom.

The true entertainer’s kitchen has a casual open plan feel with a hidden galley complete with an oven, fridge and sink for preparation and clean up well out of sight. This centrally located room in the heart of the house opens outside to a fantastic alfresco area with an outdoor fire and deck.

Outside the quality continues with a Sauna and cantilevered spa pool which takes advantage of the stunning alpine scenery. The lawns and courtyards are well connected with a private helipad in front of the house and a unique grass amphitheater perfect for family games of soccer or cricket. The exterior terraces and decking span over 100 square meters.
